Hostel description:

We offer 12 years experience in backpackers hosting, 45 years of international travelling and a location on the flat close to Whangarei\'s tourist centre, the Town Basin (800m) and only 500m to Mair Park and Parahaki Reserve walks (49.5ha).

Location:

Most central of existing 3 hostels. Close to river and bushwalks, with fishing accross the road from hostel.

Rooms:

Early 1900\'s home converted downstairs for backpackers (13 beds, lounge / dining, kitchen, toilets / showers). 5 beds in cabin.

Recent addition. 1 double and 1 triple rooms with all bedding and cooking facilities.

Services:

Off-road parking for 7 vehicles.

Internet / Email, free local phone calling, fax and cooking.

Free pickup from buses. Free fishing from river over the road from hostel.
